Hmmm... Love Love?

Many of my friends are attached, some are even married, some are parents now. It brings me back to the way I view love some 10 years ago.... Love was blind and naive, all I wanted was true love, 烈烈轰轰 de love. In which, 10 years later, I see a very different side of it. Some call it materialistic, some called it realistic, for some, they even said it is survival (LOL), whatever it is, they are just a thin line apart, one have to determine the balance of it.

Well... that's monetary part of love, love is NOT all about money, it involve things like endurance, patience, so on and so forth.

"How well are you willing to change for your other half?" I once asked my friend, S. She replied "Everything that please him". So indeed, she changed significantly, till a point where I am at a loss of words when I speak to her. She ain't herself anymore.

1 year passed, I asked her "are you happy with who you are now?" She gave me a faded smile and said "ya, of cos", but her eyes are telling me "not a single bit". Seriously, as a friend, my heart sunk. Again, I am at a loss of words. From a bubbly girl, now a "restricted" lady, what happened??

In any case, it's a road she chose one year ago, and still walking now, I can only see her from afar and give her my support. In no position can I say he is not for her, in no position can I ask her to rethink the relationship, but as long as you are happy, I am behind you ya. *wink*

It's tough being Singaporean....

People label you as KIASU & UGLY Singaporean when you:

Squeeze your way into the MRT / Bus
Take the seat regardless of the numbers of needys around you
Voice your concern when in doubt or disagree

But People also calls you brainless / Ah Dai Singaporean when you:

Guai Guai queue for your stuffs
Give your seat to who you thought is preggies (which eventually you realise that lump is fats and not baby)
Listen and agree with what others says

It's really so tough to be a Singaporean....

15 days into marriage

15 oct.... marks 15 days of marriage.

Many asked me if there are any difference in the my life as a married person.... honestly... nothing much had changed, maybe becos we are still not staying together.... hmmmmmm.... i am still the princess at home... heeheehee...

Do I miss singlehood? Well... maybe after we move in together ba... lol... i will start missing my mum cooking dinner for me.... missing my mum washing my clothes... missing my mum sewing the buttons on my shirts.... I LOVE MY MUM....

It's here.... meaning... time is near...

After collection, we went for dinner at some place (wanna know where... ask me directly).. Got happening affair.... found a fly in our drink when we are about to finish the whole damn drink...

ME: excuse me... there is a fly in my drink (almost finished)
SHE: ok.. hold on
SHE: sorry mdm... the fly was not in the drink from the start, if you can see, the body is still dry.... this is open air so these are common
ME (Stunted): forget it, just gimme the bill now
SHE: ok...
SHE: hi mdm, we are please to let you know that we waive of the drink and only charge you for the soup ($4.90) in the set meal
ME (more stunt): you mean the drink is 60 cents huh... so cheap one huh
SHE: huh what 60 cents
ME: your meal is $5.50, you are charging me for the soup, which is $4.90, so it means my drinks 60 cents la
SHE (Confused): er.... ya ya
ME (roll eyes): fine, forget it... we will just pay
SHE: ok
SHE: hi mdm... as a gesture of goodwill... we waived off the entire cost for set meal
WE: Thanks leh

So.. meaning... if kopitiam got cockroach and rats is ok one... cos outdoor, near drain...

And, kopitiam de kopi more ex than their drink ok... next time go there order the drinks from them hor... 60 cents ok... soda drink somemore...

Wedding Banquet Confirmed...

Finally, it is settled. Sourcing hotels after hotels..... finally, we come down to 2... Goodwood Park and Merchant Court. (Thanks to CMY, she managed to convince her boss to let me have it at 25 tables)

A very decent wedding place, doh not very accessible to all, but NEL is near.. it has reputation... Most important of all... it has what I am looking for in a wedding banquet.

It is a very tedious process, we had met many hotels that refuse to give in, however, there's 1 particular hotel that I do not... (I REPEAT... DO NOT) go to them... they insist that they are selling their service, and said that we can NEVER get their food at such a rate... I PUI... as if their meat are from endangered animal like that... B.I.T.C.H ( I shan't name the hotel here... if you wanna know, IM me)

Anyways.. it is a good thing that we came to the end of this chapter... it is very tiring... I shall con't to look for my bridal shoe and wait for my ROM on 1 Oct. :P
