Great Movie: Clash of the Titans

Nope, I am not a fan of this genre of movies, I never even heard of such a title until late last year when I was introduce to it as one of the projects that I will need to handle. (YES, you can call me suaku!)

Surprisingly, I enjoyed it. I love movies like Lord of the Ring, but never thought of Clash as a title comparable to it in terms of liking, I dun really give a lot of attention to stories on greek gods to start with.

I am very impressed by Perseus when he said "If I were to fight, I will fight it as a man" (something like that la..) SO MAN.... He refused to use any help or power that his dad offered him. BUT... midway, he used his dads coin to enter the underworld.... already diao half.... THEN towards the end... only left him... he LL liao... have to use the weapon to fight Hades. WAH PIANG... so much for fighting as a man lor...

Man is only strong with the power of unity... when alone... we are really nothing.

Then come the story of Medusa, she is really so beautiful... It's a total shame that I cannot find a decent pic online of her to include in this post... WHY? She is so pretty, and she saved the day (in an indirect way)... WHY dun have her nice pic online leh???? Only got her beheaded pic!

Here's her story for those who dunno about her.

Medusa was originally a beautiful maiden, "the jealous aspiration of many suitors," priestess in Athena's temple, but when she and the "Lord of the Sea" Poseidon lay together in Athena's temple, the enraged virgin goddess transformed her beautiful hair to serpents and made her face so terrible to behold that the mere sight of it would turn anybody to stone. In Ovid's telling, Perseus describes Medusa's punishment by Athena as just and well-deserved.

She can turn people into stone by looking into the person's eye leh... wah.... imagine I can turn some irritating people into stone... will that be a blessing or curse??? Dun wan la dun wan... then I cannot look BBM in the eye... CANNOT.

Lastly... I was disappointed that his foster family din return to life, I actually wanted to cry... I dunno why... he was so upset when he see them drowning in front of him and there's nothing he can do... not even when his is half god. I truly hope that his family will come back to life as a reward for him.

Having said so much.... I REALLY REALLY enjoy this movie for its actions and story nonetheless...
